Step 3: Select ‘Add New’ to begin registering your external bank account.

Step 4: Read the instructions and verify the information, then tap ‘Next’ to proceed.

Step 5: Choose the purpose of your transaction, then tap ‘Enter’ to complete the registration of your external account.

Step 6: Select your external account’s bank name and enter your branch number. Click ‘Search’ button. Make sure the account is held in your legal name as registered with Shinhan Bank Canada.

Step 7: Enter your external account number.

Step 8: Carefully read the ‘Service Agreement’ and check the box to confirm you have read and understood the ‘Service Agreement’

Step 9: Review the external account details (Verification Period, Routing Number, and Account Holder Name). A deposit will be made into the external account for verification within 1-3 business days.

Step 10: Once you receive the deposit, tap ‘Verify’ to continue with the verification process.

Step 11: Enter the deposited amount as per the format. For example, if you received $9.49, enter “0949” and tap ‘Verify’.
